Deeley Freed has acted as Development Manager with Abacus for 15 years on this strategic land in Paignton, Devon.  Planning consent has been granted for a number of uses and land developed for housing, employment and retail uses.  

Against a backdrop of complex environmental and ecological planning considerations, following a 7-day planning inquiry, in April 2021 Deeley Freed secured a further planning consent for the development of 373 homes on this 69 acre greenfield site in Torbay, Devon. The development will be a much-needed addition to the local housing land supply, providing 30% affordable housing in an area of chronic housing need.

In February 2022, Deeley Freed sold the site to Persimmon Homes on behalf of the owner/joint venture partner and ecological mitigation work on site has commenced.
